a thin, semi-hollow body guitar,
most likely manufactured at the Matsumoku plant in Japan,
which in overall dimensions can be compared
to a Gibson ES-330 guitar
but its shape can be compared to the 1958 Gibson EMS-1235.
I think the Gibson EMS-1235 was the inspiration
for the Kent 820 Series.

you can see the similar shapes at the Waist and at the Cutaways,
even though the Kent has 'offset' cutaways,
they are the same pointed Florentine style as in the Gibson EMS guitars.
The Headstocks are also very similar to the Gibson, (where the Tuning Keys are located).

curiously, both the Sunburst and Antique White finishes were also borrowed from the Gibson EMS guitars.
